Tabula Rasa #V18W, Adelaide Hills
93pts
'Semillon 70%, Sauvignon Blanc 20%, Arneis 6%, Petit Manseng 4%, with about 24 hours of skin contact.
Comes in a cute 500ml crown seal bottle.
Pretty, floral, raw almond, lime, bright, juicy, chalky feel, lemon pith bitterness, a refreshing, quinine-like finish of fair length. It’s charming, but most of all, flat out delicious to drink.'

Campbell Mattinson
The Unforgettable GSM 2016, Langhorne Creek
90pts
'Give this time to breathe and it opens up nicely. It’s firm and slightly salty but well fruited. Dry in style. Black cherry and boysenberry with saltbush and dried spices. Mid-weight. Drinks well now but will hold and mature over the medium term as a minimum. Tannin feels ribbed, in a positive way. Balance is exemplary. It’s svelte but dry. There’s pleasure to be had here.'

The Courtesan Riesling 2016, Clare Valley

‘Mouthwatering, with an intensely juicy backbone to the grapefruit, lime
and pineapple flavours, mingling on the long finish. Drink now. (MW)’.

Huon Hooke
The Exhibitionist Merlot 2016, Barossa Valley
91pts
'Very deep, bright red/purple colour. The aromas are fresh and clean, youthful and berry-like, and in the mouth it is likewise bold, bright, youthful and firm, a little unready but of excellent quality. Traces of cedar and more than a little elegance'.
